Water comes out of fill when I turn pump on

After I fill my tank I turn my valve off and when I turn my pump on water comes out the fresh water fill ?

Did you turn the valve back from the fill tank position?

Most water fill connectors have a check valve in them:

Often simply wiggling the 3 spoke "thingy" with a pencil or screwdriver will stop it from leaking.

CHECK the spring plunger that will behind the washer screen and gently tap the pin, may not be seated in valve correctly, watch it may spit at you.

Thanks....."spring plunger" is a much better term than "3 spoke thingy"!

This is what I was wondering. My gasket had a screen and it was really dirty so it is probably plugged, thanks.

Thanks for the input! The screen was hitting the button. Took the screen out and turned it around and all is good.
