Water Heater conversion

Hi all, has anyone had the chance(I'm sure you have) to try the Hott Rod water heater conversion kit from Camping World? It's just me and my dog so it looks like it would be just fine. If you have any input I would greatly appreciate it as well as any suggestions that you might have. Thank you in advance.

Ours is a different manufacturer but, Yep works fine. We ordered a gas electric with our trailer and along with many of the other things done wrong/ not done we got a gas only. Ours was the last trailer produced by a failing company and I accepted because there was so much we put into it. Long story but I finished it and did install a hot rod. My only complaint is that it makes it harder to drain the hot water tank. I did install a pair of Anderson Power Poles so that I can disconnect it easily.
Not fast but you are paying for the electricity so why not.

I used one a dozen years ago in an RV that did not come with an electric water heater. Worked fine. The one I had was a competitive brand (Lightning Rod), but they are basically the same.

I agree. It works great and was nice when we lived in it because we could save our propane for heat and cooking, mostly cooking because we used a oil filled radiator to supplement the furnace.
