Water Heater Wiring, Fleetwood Bounder, Help Please

I am rebuilding a 1997 Fleetwood Bounder 36s. I'm in to the water heater now and the wires going to the unit don't have power to them. I've checked of the breakers and everything is good there. Does anyone know this system and how it works? Is there a switch somewhere? Does anyone have a diagram of the electrical? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you post the water heater brand name and model number .
Maybe we can get a full installation manual for you.
Some coaches controlled the LP and electric side with switches in different locations and over ride the microwave for power when the W/H is using 110v. Any 110v wall switches around the coach ; close to the sink maybe ; that you don't know what they're for?

In most all RV water heaters, the controller and LP ignition are usually 12 v DC power. If it has a 120 v heating element it usually has a 120 v switch inside the RV. In addition there is often a 120 v switch in the water heater compartment so when you've drained the heater you can make sure no one turns on interior 120 v element and burns it out.

You might call Fleetwood Customer Service, (800) 322-8216. They will provide electrical diagrams if they still have them.
