Hi everyone, I need to buy a new water heater and I was wondering what anyone thought of the tankless water heaters. It's just me and my dog so I don't need a lot. Also if no one likes the tankless, do you have a preference for Atwood or Suburban pilot or electronic. I have a Winnebago RQ33. Thank you in advance for your help.

If you want to save big bucks, turn your present water heater into electric. Kits available at Camping World

My MH came standard with a tank-less water heater and after using it over the last 4 months I'd never go back to a gas / electric heater. We no longer have to worry about turning it on and off. Just turn on hot water at the faucet when you need it!

I think I would go with an exact replacement of what you have to prevent fit and plumbing issues.

We've been using a tankless for the lass year and a half.

We have no desire to go back to a water heater.

We replaced the tank type with a tankless on our last motorhome. While it worked ok, will would not spend the money again. This time I upgraded the tank type with an external mixing valve and higher temp thermostats. Now we have plenty of hot water, a very simple water heater and much smaller out of pocket cost.
