we have a 2014 Coachmen Pursuit - I posted here because this may be a more universal "slide issue"

First time out in coach. First time the weather was so cold we had to use furnace. Maybe this is a condensation issue?

When we retracted the slides at 9am to head home about 10 minutes later two puddles of water appeared inside the coach. One was coming out from under the kitchen cabinet. The other was coming out from front of coach under couch.

Both puddles line up with the tracks on the driver side slideout.

We cleaned up the water (about a half cup each spot) and kept an eye on it. Did not have any more water appear.

Any ideas???

Good morning.

Anything that was on the outside of the slides will end up on the inside of your coach, so make sure you wipe off any moisture prior to bringing them in. I carry a telescoping ladder to check the top of the slide, rain can stay up there for a while, then move forward and splash on the back of your head while leaving the campground (do not ask how I know, just part of the learning curve!). Sounds like you had a small amount of moisture dripping off the slide, and it continued to drip once inside. I have experienced moisture on the inside of windows, too, usually from using heaters that cause condensation. Dehumidifiers can help greatly with this problem. Hope this helps, watch out for the rain water puddled on the top of the slides. . .

Us too. If it rains, I do try to squeegie off the moisture. Helps some.

If you can use your MH's leveling jacks in a manual mode, raise the front of the unit a bit and then wait a few minutes for the water to drain off the slides before closing them.

Learned this the hard way. Pulled in the slides after rain and wind, water blew under slide topper. At the fist stop sign I applied the brakes and got a cold shower down my back.
