Put Hankooks on the front last year to replace the scalloped Goodyears. Doing the rears on Friday with the same Hankook tire. Ride and handle well and no complaints. Much cheaper than Michelins even with the FMCA program. Lots of good options out there.

There are several reasons to know your corner weights. First so you know if any of your axles are over weight. Second to be sure the tires you are buying are the correct load range. Third so you can determine the proper inflation for each axle.
Some manufacturers sell coaches that are very close to the limit, if you add anything to the basement you could be over the limit on that axle. As mentioned above have the coach loaded as you would normally, including water, fuel, waste tanks and people.
After you purchase the tires go to the tire manufacturer's charts to get the proper inflation.

Please explain who, where in Florida and contact information for Escapees who weighed your coach. i live near Daytona Beach and camp thru out Florida and would like to have it done. TIA Bruce

We had it done at Sumpter Oaks in Bushnell, FL. They have a concrete pad set up for just this purpose.

Tom, I wish I would have weighed mine 1st, I'm not over weight but closer than I would like to be. I just went to local truck stop, make sure it's how you travel, trailers towed ect

I just took mine to the CAT scales at the local truck stop.
Was pleasantly surprised to find it weighed less than what Newmar stated even with full fuel ,propane and fresh water tanks.
Professional printouts all for $10 and ten minutes of my time.

Do this first. Then, if you are really close, get axle end weights.
Other good places to weigh are small rural towns. Most of the Ag supply places for farmers have scales to weigh feed, fertilizer, grain etc. A lot of them will have space to go off the side of the scale for end weights. Some charge, some will not.
Local one in our town is open 24/7. No one there, but scale head is set to be able to read from outside! Weigh yourself, take as long as you want! Easy peasee!

I would recommend any of the State Weigh stations across the country. There is no charge for this. What is really nice is that they will give you a 3 station weigh if you are towing a vehicle. Station 1 is front. Station 2 is drive wheels and station 3 is your tow vehicle. This is a great way to make sure your tires are the right pressure and that you are within GVWR.

I've run nothing but Toyo tires for years. Excellent ride and service life. I even run Toyo ATII tires on my Wrangler Toad. They've taken me places where no man has gone before... well, almost. In all seriousness they make an excellent tire. If they made a W rated tire for my V12 Jaguar I'd run them on it as well.

I have many posts on weighing RVs on my blog on RVTire Safety.
Here is one with data showing why getting "4 corner" weights is important as some MH can be significantly un-balanced side to side so simply assuming a 50/50 split may leave you with one or more tires overloaded.
