Weldex monitor white stripe down one side

I have a weldex color camera system that only has a rear camera. the system is about 6 years old. The monitor works and I have a picture but there is a solid white line down the left side about 1 1/4 inch wide. I have checked all the wiring at the camera and it all looks ok. I have read many posts about various problems with Weldex cameras but nothing like this one.

Anyone have any suggestions

Thanks
BigD

It could be the camera or the monitor. To rule out which, plug the camera into another small monitor or TV with the appropriate connector. Then you know which to replace/fix.

I already did that. I just unplugged the camera and turned on the monitor.
I get the same result which is a gray bar on the left side about 1 1/4 inch wide. Do you know how to remove the rear camera? I notice that where the cable goes into the camera there is what looks like a plastic nut. I hate to think about removing all the hardened sealer around the camera to get the screws out.

I'm still not clear. Did you get a grey bar on your existing monitor with the camera unplugged or on another monitor you know is good? If a grey bar on the existing monitor with the camera unplugged, then it is your monitor, not your camera.

They say one picture is worth......

This is with the camera connected. With the camera not connected
the image goes away and the stupid bar remains???

Then I would say you need to replace the monitor, not the camera
