Well that was short lived.....

Took a one way flight to Florida to look for the perfect Motor Home. After almost of week of driving around Florida driving almost every Motor Home for sale, we finally found a Coach we liked. Bought it, drove it back to NC, parked it in the driveway!

3 days later a neighbor came walking down the road commenting on how much they loved the motor home. That they have been looking for 3 years for the right home and this was it. They offered me $5500 more than I paid for it last week........ I couldn't resist........ SOLD!

Now what?..........

I hope you figured in airline tickets, car, fuel, food, lodging. After that you may want to figure in a weeks salary.
If you had as my h fun as you would have had on vacation, then it was worth it.

Air fare one way for two was less than $100 from Greensboro to Orlando. Cost while there were low, maybe $1000, but we were going there anyways, so really all it cost me extra was the difference between the gas home and what airfare would have been getting home.......

But that experience of driving a self sufficient RV home (Which took 2 nights and 2 days) .......................... Priceless !

thats the way it goes, too funny. Id save some money and do the research on the net first, so you know where your going and what your buying since you got a 2nd chance. and maybe use the profit to get something more suited to you.awesome

It's great that you made money but unless it's all legit and you pay taxes on it I wouldn't advertise the fact on the internet. Uncle is gonna want his share.

Congratulations!
You are the first (and maybe ONLY) person I know who has ever sold a motor home for more than he paid for it!

I think that deserves a medal or a plaque! LOL

I'll second that!!! The DW told me we had to have that PERFECT MH before our 30th. If I would have sold it when we got home she'd had my bags packed and made it a package deal!!
