How unfortunate to have bought something with issues right out of the gate.
I would check to insure there is no leak from a water source in the vicinity of the bubbling paper. This is usually the cause.

On affordable new units:
The only way these manufacturers of lower end and cheaply priced units can produce these units at an affordable cost to consumers is to use the cheapest materials possible. They are also mass produced on a line spitting them out completed about every 1.5 minutes.

In my years of purchasing RV's, I learned early that the quality I wanted was not going to be in a new RV unless I broke the bank.

I have picked in the early 2000-2003's and note the difference in the quality of build. I hate particle board and photo wood grain paper. I hate wallpaper. I hate wallpapered paneling.

I realize there are things to fix on an older unit, but once repairs are done, you end up with a good quality unit with good bones for less cost than a cheaper built new one.
That's just been my observation.

I hope you get all things rectified and are able to get out and use your RV for a great many years without issue.
