Went a little crazy today

well went to a RV show today, and darnedest thing happened, looked at a Coachman Pursuit 27KB, and it looks like we might be going back this week to pick it up if all goes right, I'll be darned if the DW didn't fall in love with the sleeping areas for all the grand kids, now I might be the proud owner of two motorhomes, who in the heck needs two motorhomes, but this one looks pretty good,,,
has alot of goodies to like,,

Two can be a great idea if you have storage area. I really did not want to sell our smaller C navion! It was wonderful for small trips in small places!

Have a blast

What show did you go to?

By the looks of your signature it was time for a new one anyways.

well it wasn't probably a real show, just a show for the dealers new stuff they got in, in Manteca, it is for january, I wanted to look at the new retro looking winnies they had there, of coarse they were more expensive then most other MH in their league,
And I am working hard to bring the old winnie back to life, it will be a fairly decent usable inexpensive rig to run when I am done, of coarse it will cost me a lot o get her there, check out my antique post in vintage MH

hammer55,
We went with the Coachmen Pursuit model 31BDP because of the sleeping lay out. Most of the time just the wife and myself along with the two dogs. But with the front power bunk, and two other spots we can take the grandsons or granddaughter with us and have plenty of room. With the slides open it feels much bigger than some of the others we looked at.

very nice, I was looking at price and sleeping, I would never take more than two of them by ourselves and they are still youngins, so, with the price and the sleeping this 27 KB will work, and then for the two of us alone it will be great,,

Make sure you look at joining FROG. No cost and they have one great rally in August. Also have some smaller local one's.

Hi hammer55,
If you have a favorite place to go <100 miles from home, consider buying a lot or renting one for the season and retire the old Chief to the favorite place.

I would keep the old Chief so that your kids can use it and won't bug you use the new one. That way you can go on an outing, take the grandkids, and then when it's time for everyone to leave, you and the wife can stay a couple more days and recouperate. We have three grandsons, 6 and two 2-1/2 year olds. We have taken the 6 year old out a bunch of times as he is easy to take( and he is sure it's his MH), and all three once(that was alot of work). We are looking for an older MH or TT to buy for ours kids to share so they can all come out with us whenever they want. Congrats on the new purchase.

it is official ,

yes they called and said I got some financing, so I guess it's ours, wow, a lot of money, but you only go around once in life, right, maybe, please say it is so, at least that is what I am going to tell myself, so someone please agree with me, even though you know I am a fool, but any way, thanks, now I have to change my signature, let me see, how do I do that again, hmmmmm

Ok, I see you already changed the signature

Hammer, your family will make great memories in your rv(s) top of the list for worthiness! Great time to buy, lower interests and prices are going up, so you did great!

Ok, now go to the top right, click on your pen name, then upper left cpuser, then scroll down on left and look for the signature editing.

Hammer55,
FROG is Forest River Owners Group. Coachmen is owner by Forest River RV'S so you can join FROG. Just go to Forest River RV'S and you should find the spot to join. There is also a Forest River Forum much like irv2. That forum is not run by Forest River RV'S but is great for Forest River owners. They have a Coachmen motor home section.
