wet air cleaner

My brotherinlaw has a 98 holidayrambler endeavor on a ford f53 chassis. He constantly has problems with rain entering the air cleaner and causing the engine to misfire. Any recalls info or cure for this problem would be greatly apreciated.Larry

There are a couple of fixes. Do a search for F53 water ingestion it's not uncommon but there are cures for it There's a Ford updated part available. This was a problem from 1999 thru 2002. Jim
