Our Vista has it listed as an option but every model we looked at had it included.

As far as the speakers go, we use them all the time and would pay the extra for them again if given the chance.

The TV is a little different. We do use it. I have a 4 and a 2 year old. They like movie nights under the stars. It also gives my wife and I a chance to enjoy some wine next to the campfire while they are entertained. It still wouldn't be a must for me but I use it.

Kind of like the sunroof in my car. I can probably count the times I've used it on one hand.

We have an outside TV, but I honestly didn't think I'd want or use it. Surprisingly, we use it quite a bit. I don't think you'll know for yourself until you've had it. My biggest qualm is to not disturb any neighbors.

The coach came with one and except for seeing if it worked, haven't used it. Doesn't mean we won't in the future though. I would say they are generally included in new coaches because it's huge extra profit to add options.

You always know that you could watch it if you wanted to and if you don't, it will add value to the next owner and might help the sale if they really wanted it. I ordered it with our coach and have only used it 3 or 4 times in three years, but I would order it again in another coach. It is considered almost "standard" equipment on most higher end coaches and can only enhance the value of lower priced units. If it takes up basement space and you do not use it, just take it out and store it for when you trade or sell the coach.
Agreed! Of all the features my coach has, the most ooos and awwweees from people who don't RV yet are about that patio TV. It can only help resale. Nobody will not buy your coach for having one but may pass if it doesnt.

We've used ours twice in 4 years. Once in day time, too much glare. Once at night and got eaten by bugs.

Same. Our TV took up basement space so I removed it, and since we've never used it, we've never missed it. And really, if we're outside it's for the peace and quiet, not the annoying intrusion of a TV. If we want to watch Dish, or a movie, we go inside. We like it loud and in surround sound. On the other hand, we did use the outside radio - once.

But, I think it makes sense to go ahead and find out if you like it. Then make up your mind so you're ready with an opinion the next time this topic comes up. But is that worth $2,000? You'll have to decide on your own.

Have one in lower storage compartment and use rarely. Too much glare. Maybe the newer ones mounted higher in sidewall with Nova awnings would make it more usable. Too many times we are parked with direct sunlight on it. I'd have to think hard and long if ordering a new coach. I think if rather have other options.
We had one neighbor at Fort Wilderness that had one in a new coach with a subwoofer. Annoying. He turned down at our request. Playing video games. Not the kids either.

I use the radio and speakers more than the tv. And before I get lambasted, I DO KEEP the volume down. Just loud enough for me to hear a little music when I'm cooking dinner out there.

I'm not a sports fan, but I do think that watching sports might be nice--especially if you are tailgating.

Ours came with one and I use it just very occassionaly. If I was ordering a new coach and it was more than a 500.00 uncharge, I wouldn't get it. So I guess to me, after having one, it is worth 500.00, not 2000. jmo mark

Ours came with one and I didn't think I would use it. However in the past year I have spent several afternoons watching a tournament with a cold one in hand while kicked back in the recliner. I have used it more than I thought I would and it is nice to have it while grilling outside.

I locked the door of our Outside TV compartment the day we took delivery of our coach and have not unlocked it in three years. The last thing I want is more TV when enjoying the outdoors:-)
