We use ours from time to time. It is mounted behind a hatch of its own above the storage bay. We camp in the loosest sense of the word, so no interference with nature when in use.

We've got a TV on the exterior wall of the living room slide out. We use it occasionally. Primarily to watch a game now and then. It certainly falls into the "nice to have" category - but it's something we could easily do without.

Friend has an Essex, he removed the bay TV and entertainment system and built shelves in the space.

It's actually the plot of the next Adam Sandler movie.

I have one and it is mounted in the sidewall so it does not take up any space. I absolutely love wathing the news in the morning with my coffee outside! We also have movie night and usually have friends from all around stop by. Before they leave, we decide what tomorrow nights movie will be. Also love the music while working around the outside of the rv. Even with the volume up pretty loud on the campsite, you cant hear it on the next site. Also love that it keeps the kids outside and less traffic indoors. I can tell you this, we find it much easier to sell an rv at the dealership if it has one. The minute it doesnt, people are asking if we can install it. If its available to order, we order our units with it.

My Bounder came with a coax connection and a 110 outlet in the middle basement compartment. I smoked cigars and subsequently spent a lot of time outside .
I put a 25" flat screen out there and always enjoyed having it.

We use ours quite a lot for the satellite radio stations. Originally, it was fixed in position so to watch it one had to sit too far towards the rear of the coach. I added a swing out arm to the mount and now we can watch it from anywhere under the awning.
