I pulled in the main slide because my wife was worried about the slide topper. We are at the KOA at South Padre Island, and the wind is in the teens with gusts into the mid 20s.

It's also cold and wet here today. Just a tough New Year's Eve on the island. But at least there are football games to watch.

Went there last year during the same time last year and it was cold and windy then. That is why I am heading to Tampa.

Drove over to the storage building to check on it but way to cold to get out of nice warm truck to unlock the overhead door and open. Sure it is just fine and can wait until things warm up a bit or spring. lol

Nothing to the coach but doing a carrier that mounts on the hitch receiver of the toad so I can carry my Pit Barrel Cooker when we go to Tampa next week.

Wink

Went to the Sunshine Mill in Red Bay, AL, and weighed all four corners on the truck scale ... then calculated what tire pressure I need to be running. Now back in Tiffin's Service Center Campground waiting for some warranty work. Service Center reopens next Monday.

Need to go now, the Tiffin party is about to begin.

Happy New Year!

I started pulling out the carpet and then we are going to replace it with Prego laminate flooring.

Did nothing to "Christine". She is dry in the barn, plugged in and settling down for a long winters nap. I do check on her every other day or so to make sure she is still "comfortable".

Enjoying the FL Sunshine

Decided to drive 10 miles to our local RV Park for 5 days.

It is nice to do a short get-away from the duties of being a homeowner.

A little cool in my garage today so,
I bought a new Ceramic Heater so I could watch the World Junior Hockey game between Canada and the USA in comfort. Money well spent. Canada won.

I replaced a cracked 7 way trailer plug. Turns out it's the lowest point and while backing up an incline it can early hit the pavement. Plan to at 5 inch caster to the base of the trailer tow frame so if it happens a gain the wheel will hit first.

I put her back up on the wood ramps I made. She started right up and so did the Gennie... A good sign!!!
The Mercury is going to bust out the bottom of the Outside thermostat starting tonight.
