What do you keep on hand for spare parts?

There might be something on this topic already, but I would like to talk about spare parts for Motorhomes. Starting with "most critical" down to "nice to have on hand". I have a lot of items, but I'm sure I haven't thought of them all. How deep do you go on your spare parts inventory?

The number one item is spare "Fuel Filters" (on a diesel engine).

I also have a spare "12V disconnect switch (a.k.a Salesman's Switch) and the 12V continuous duty solenoid used in the front run bay.

Then I carry assorted electrical repair parts (wire, crimp terminals, circuit breakers, fuses, light bulbs, etc).

Usually I replace something as a preventative measure, and keep the old item as a spare.

Starter
Serpentine belt
Spark plugs and COPs
Cam and Crank sensor

Large assortment of tools.

A simple to one to carry and has already saved me time and frustration is...a spare gas cap. At some point I must have left it when I filled up and the next fillup ....DOY!

I panicked at 1st and then remembered I had a spare!

The next time I was at an auto part store, I bought another one!

Of course I understand the DP's probably have an error code that pops up if you leave the cap off, but this old 97 RexAir ain't that smart!

On our old coach, I always wedged the gas cap in the pump handle as it was filling. Almost impossible to leave it then.

If you carry filters as spares, make sure you pack them into something that will keep all moisture out. Also its best to "rotate the the stock" and use your "spares". The internal parts of filters are bare steel and will rust. Below are pictures of new old stock filters.

Water pump (12V for house water, that is)
Radiator cap
We also carry a Noco Genius jump starter (handy for charging phones and computers too) and a separate battery charger. If we don’t need it, someone will.
Extra hitch pins, etc for the toad.
Any brand specific items known to fail.
And all the previously mentioned items.

Serpentine belt (cummins).

Water separator
Fuel filters (cumming and Onan)

50 ft. air hose.

The rest is carried by my roadside assistance guy - and I have patience.

Yes, also have tools, fasteners, duct tape, PEX fittings, fuses, meter, etc.
