I'm sure you'll get lots of the same answers like emergency kits, fuses etc...

I started carrying spare parts for my two water heaters after I've had to fix one water heater twice and the other one once, in a relatively short period of time. I now have several thermostats and a control board that I carry as spares.

It only the parts and tools you don't have that will be needed. I carry many tools and all the parts prior posters listed, so they are balast.
And everything is in plastic, they last a long time that way.

Yes, also have tools, fasteners, duct tape, PEX fittings, fuses, meter, etc.
I think you nailed it. Same things I have. Don't take much space or add a lot of weight and covers the most likely scenario that will happen.

That is good advice - I used my wife's vacuum sealing machine to wrap the spare filter. It sucks out all the air and leaves a tight fitting wrap on the filter.

For the most part our tow vehicle is our spare part... I keep a tool kit with me that covers most issues and will drive the tow vehicle to the parts store if needed... no real need to carry a bunch of spare parts in my opinion, other than a few bulbs and fuses, and a roof patch kit just incase... otherwise I'm careful and thorough with preventive maintenance...
