What is the best RV with MSRP sub300k?

Looking for diesel, 2 toilets, air ride and HIGH QUALITY.

What do I need to look at? Have a wife and 2 small kids and our typical mission is a 3 day long go kart race 50-500 miles from home

Quality Is my hot button. I'd also like large water tanks, silent air conditioner units and a huge comfy bed.

Thanks in advance

Funny how Price and High Quality have a lot in common. You can't have both, so you justify Quality in order to remain with the Price you chose...or vice versa.

What is your price range?

P.S. you already know that seven figures will get you what you're asking for, so what are your interests if you're first-time buyer?

I guess I forgot to transfer the topic to the post into the post.

I'm looking for the best coach on the market with an MSRP of 300k or less.

I currently have my first purchase, a 2015 thor outlaw 37ls, to compare to.

I know now more about what I want, I'd bought the toy hauler hoping to avoid towing a trailer and the garage in the outlaw didn't turn out to be large enough for us to race out of, so to have to tow a trailer with a gas unit, with no where comfy for my big arse to sleep, has me ready to move on to something else, I just need help figuring out what that is

Country Coach made a very high quality coach. Your price range will put a mid to late model (2007 to 2008) Magna pretty easily.

To avoid the new coach problems I would go with a higher quality used coach. Lower 2000's Newell or Foretravel might also fit the price range.

Same age range Newmar (as Country Coach) higher end coaches, Essex, Mountain Air would work as well. For a King Air you might have to go a little older. I would also classify the Tiffin Allegro Bus, or perhaps Zephyr in this class.

In new coaches, for your price range you would be looking at low to mid range coaches from any manufacturer. Newmar Ventana, Tiffin Phaeton, Some of the Fleetwood models. Winnebago Journey or Itasca Meridian.

Tiffin 38QBA bunkhouse might just fit the bill and leave change on the table. Had a 38 QRA and it was a great coach; one year in decided we wanted bigger.

Personally I'd step up to at least a 2015 Dutch Star, should be able to get a fully loaded one for under $300,000

Consequently, the suggestion on the Newmar Dutchstar is also spot on.

Don't forget to check into the American Coach Revolutions - also a GREAT choice for the price. Just be sure to get 3 A/C's - you'll be thankful you did.

Couple years old you find yourself in a King Aire by Newmar

And If I were buying new (which I researched HEAVILY over the last year, resident expert on this honestly middle level coach) I would consider the Entegra, the Newmar, the American Coach and that's about it in todays market new.

I would want a full wall slide and a bath & half.

American coach needs to get with it on the interior styling when compared, but one thing I can tell you is those ugly ceiling a/c vents in the Am Coach WORK when you learn how to open and close them as needed.... something I'm nervous out losing in the Newmar with the single wooden grate full dump.

Look around and purchase used.

Understand you are talking HIGH QUALITY in both materials and workmanship. If looking new you will have to dig deeper than you are planning to get something that will meet your expectations.

All units will have warts and issues no matter what the price you pay. Met a fellow who was taking his brand new Marathon back to the factory. Said it was a really disappointing. Water leaks, insect incursion and other issues were part of his complaints.

You'll have to look at newer model used coaches. Newmar MA, American Coach Rev or Tradition, Country Coach, Travel Supreme, Monaco, Tiffin Allegro Bus. Most likely 2008 to maybe 2011. Check Lazy Days out of Sefner FL. They have huge inventories also consigned brokers PPL in Texas. Use due diligence, pay for a qualified third party inspection.
