What is this "Thing"

It is the tool to lock your slides in the "in" position. A bit of a pain, but....


The "hook" fits over the bar beyond the hinge point and the "finger" moves the bar into the locked position.


Your set-up procedures should have an "unlock the slides" item - - in our case, delegated to the inside person

Yep, both our Dutch Stars had them. I never used them, in fact, in the '02 DSDP we had the only one I ever locked was the one right behind the driver and that was to stop it from rattling so much
