Winter inside storage, large warehouse with electric to maintain batteries, $2.75 per day. Yes, per day not per foot. And no there are no spaces so don’t ask. Thank you!

When I was storing the coach in Rhode Island, it was indoors with heat (45 degrees) and power but you weren’t allowed to keep it plugged in all the time. I used to plug it in once per month and then shut the batteries off. Cost was $383/month for a 37 ft coach. One nice thing, I was allowed to work on it while in storage (within reason) so I got a lot of my modifications done over the winter such as updating the TV to flat screen along with the cabinet modifications.

I'm near Tampa and pay $250/month for covered storage (12x50) which also includes a 12x10 storage unit. They have a couple wash stations and dump stations. All paved .
Elsewhere in the area, the going rate for just an outdoor parking place in a secured lot is $1/foot/month.

I read this thread with interest as I too pay for motor home storage.
I believe the most honest answer anyone could give you is, "Depends".
Your price point would depend on:
What type of storage you design and offer? Outdoors, paved, fenced, lighted, alarmed, cameras, electricity available, indoors (4 sides and a roof, 3 sides and a roof), demand, etc.
I have indoor storage I share with 3 other people. I have 30 amps, concrete floor, heating and AC, alarmed building, lighting, wash rack, air compressor, all on a gated property with the owner in a separate house next-door.
I pay a premium rent for all this but if this same storage was say in the New York City area - - there would be no way I could afford it.
So it comes back to your area and what you are going to offer. What are other storage units with similar storage you will offer in your area charging?
.......and go from there.
Good luck, RV storage here in the Indianapolis area are hot properties.

$100 a month outdoor storage on gravel/dirt. Gated with code for access with security cameras at the gate.
Has a "free dump station", open from April to October and for 40 foot motor home.
Seven miles from my house.

I don't pay anything. I store on my property at my house. I don't live in a neighborhood and I have plenty of land. I have a spot where I am going to build a pole barn with a gravel floor.

$200/mo for 9 x 40 asphalt near Fort Lauderdale. Security gate, but contractors are in and out. Tight fit with class C on one side and class A on the other. Have to watch the mirrors when backing in doing a little zig zag around them. Central Florida is much less expensive (and so is insurance for those zip codes), but I it is handy having the MH close to home. We move it to a very close by county park the night before a trip to start up the reefer, check out all the systems, and load her up. Works out well. Nothing worse than starting a trip and saying "oh s**t" because something doesn't work.
