Location will greatly affect costs. In the mid south, I pay $150/month, 20 x 50, concrete floor, covered, all enclosed except for chain linked front, with power, employee lives on premises. It's on a boat dealer's lot.

I have 2 spaces in Georgia 12' wide and 50' long completely uncovered for $40 each/month... Allows my two coaches to sit side by side with a cargo trailer behind the shorter coach. 24 hour access, all paved lot completely fenced with both indoor and covered also available for other prices. They don't care if my generator is rumbling for power - I'm not bothering anyone. Work allowed on the units, which is nice.

Best "rent rate" there is...

I have a 45F heated pole barn at my son's place 3 miles away. Cost: Have to babysit the 2 and 4 YO grandkids twice a week, best and most enjoyable arrangement possible as we can influence their growth (Taught the 4 YO about levers yesterday as I had him lift ~ 300# on a brush hog so I could add casters to the front of it for winter storage). Oh, and I need to feed his wood fired boiler twice a day this January for 10 days while he's on a cruise with the in-laws.

Zero$ I had to widen my side yard back in 2010, but I couldn't afford the coach if I had to pay storage fees.

PS couldn't figure out how to rotate the pic...ugh

San Francisco Bay Area, $180/month for an unlit gravel parking spot at a U-haul rental lot.

Technically there's no security but the owner allows the guy who preps and cleans the U-Hauls to live in a trailer a couple of spots down from me in exchange for keeping his eyes on things.

I was really lucky to get it, most lots are a lot more expensive *if* they even have a space. Demand is high because a city ordinance forbids storing RVs on residential lots, so even though I have a paved pad by my house I can't use it

Fenced and somewhat lighted and secured, inside the over 55 gated community where we live. Gravel surface. Roughly a block from our house. $35 a month. We can park it in front of our house for 48 hours for Pre trip loading, Post trip unloading, washing/waxing, etc....with no complaints. Although no mechanical maintenance is allowed. We had 30 amp service installed at the corner of the house, and there is a sewer clean out in the front yard about 3 ft from the street, if needed. It has all worked out very well.
