What is your monthly storage cost?
We are thinking of opening an RV storage lot on 12 acres in central Florida and would like to hear what would be a desirable monthly price?
Thanks in advance
Jesse

Outdoor storage in semi rural Illinois 40ish for 20' to 40' trailer or MH and indoor 3.00 per foot for MH per month. He will hit you more per ft. for say a of pair of jet skis.

Little Rock Arkansas area I pay $140.00 a month for 4 sided cover. Back, both sides, and roof covered the front is open and the sites are 12 ft wide and 45 ft long. Face the south. So only sunlight gets to front cap some but not full sunlight. For the most part stays out of sun completely.

I pay $150 /mo for outside paved storage. Very secure lot with an employee living on the premises, cameras, automatic gates and roll up door. It is located near Orlando international airport in Florida.
I think location is key to the price. Is your 12 acres way out in the boonies, or close to major roads and residential areas?

Before we went full time, we were spending $260/mo. for a 14' x 50' fully inclosed rental spot. It was a brand new facility, fully concreted entry driveways and inside storage area, roll away door in front, unique secure front door locking system, fenced with security camera's and coded entry gate, 15 amp service inside each stall with LED lighting, and no contract in Houston, Tx.
I would never park our RV in an outside storage area for so many reasons.

$75 to $100 per month for outside storage on gravel/dirt mix in NE Ohio. No power, no cover, just parking place. Keycard gates and cameras but who knows how/if they are monitored.

For RVers who are retired military or veterans and within reasonable driving distance of a military base, there may be RV storage space available at very reasonable prices. I'm paying $45 a month for storing my Class C on base while local civilian lots are sometimes charging nearly twice that.
For those interested, contact the unit in charge of outdoor recreation at your nearby base. The Air Force calls theirs Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR), and the Army's goes by Outdoor Recreation. Not sure about the monikers for the Navy and Marines. Nearly all military bases have military campgrounds available to active duty and retired vets and have good websites, so they could be starting points for finding information on RV storage.

Here in So Cal I pay $350/month at a secure RV storage facility for a 12’ x 36’ covered space. The facility features a large wash bay with cat walks on both sides, industrial vacuum, dump station, and free ice. Pricing like this is typical here. I could get a space at an indoor facility for $425 but it’s further from my house. Our high land and development costs are reflected in these rent levels.
