What is your most useful tool or product?
Show us your favorite, most used product that makes camping life easier.
Mine is the Trackmat. I found my first one about 3 years ago at a truck accessory store in Dallas Texas, I purchased a second one last year while traveling back through, usually around $60, and worth every dime.
One stays in the toad and the other in the coach, works on any smooth or rough surface, hot or cold, wet or snow.
Very comfortable to kneel or lay on and keeps clothes clean and dry. I also use it on my tailgate to keep clothes clean and knees comfortable. Rick . Attachment 1

I've used a piece of closed cell foam for at least 25 years to do the same thing. A sleeping pad cut into 3 ft pieces will last for years, and cheap to replace. But probably not as thick as the one you show.

Nice, I’ve seen different home made mats even pool floats but the Truck mat is perfectly designed and fits anywhere.
You got any favorite products you use?
Rick

Tire pressure gauge hands down. Rubber hits the road, gravity sucks and everyone stays happy 😜

I keep a couple pairs of Tyvek disposable coveralls handy. They are inexpensive, white and VERY reflective at night. They keep clothes clean and almost GLOW in the light when on the side of the road.

For sitting laying on the ground I bought these on sale for $4.99 at Harbor Freight. I also cut 2 of the 4 pieces to fit on the floor under the steering wheel. It helps me compensate for short legs and keeps my feet from getting as hot or old.

But my favorite and most useful tool is this -
Mopeka Products, LLC – Mopeka Tank Check Sensor

I too keep a TrackMat as well as a smaller garden version foam knee pad on hand along with other devices such as dowel stick with a hook to pull air bleed lanyards, gloves, flashlight in addition to a basic tool set onboard for all the obvious reasons.

Are you referring to on board TPMS?

Good idea! I use these in Craig spaces and attics, they fold up very small.
I never thought about them being reflective, good observation.
Drivers passing by must think there is a biohazard at your RV.
Tyvek suits are waterproof but breathable.
Thanks
Rick

I’ve been asking my RV store if they’ve gotten any feedback on those ttanks sensors and they said they sell a lot but no feedback yet. So in your experience do they work well and are they accurate? Also do you have any idea how they work?
Thanks
Rick
