I'm with RiverBurt. I miss the driver door. Not so much for entry and egress (still handy at fuel stops), but for the access to the footwell fuse and breaker panels in front of the driver's left foot.

I have to be sure to retract both of them before any rain or it will pool on the flat upper section. This can be corrected by shimming the roof brackets to tip it down a couple degrees. With that change both awnings can be left out in a downpour and the water just runs off the end.

Uh oh, now you jinxed it for sure Crasher.

The Cummins ISX 650. Great power, great mileage for that size engine and the rigs weight, BUT it's been rebuilt 3 times in 53,000 miles. The first one was under warranty but the last 2 have cost me $53,000 out of my pocket!!!

The one thing I would change on my class A would be to make areas more accessible for maintenance. The generator is tucked in tight and the engine compartment is nothing but close quarters.

I love the storage in the basement. The downside is the steps up when you have a basement. I am 79. My wife is 75. She has lots of problems with arthritis. A few days of climbing steps and she is hurting. She still says it is worth the pain.

Those nasty looking New Orleans meets faux Greco-Roman padded fabric covered false window valences that go almost to the floor and block light while taking up six inches of floor space. Removing them won't be easy because they contain the blind mountings but I will.

My coach sits for long periods between use some times, SO i like to drain all the water lines to prevent fresh water odor. My two filters are located in the center of the coach accessible by sliding doors, from the storage bay area. . I have to climb in the storage bay laying on my side to take them off.
Also they are located right next to and partially above the inverter, so I cover the inverter and use a small bucket to try to catch any spilled water.
I should try to relocate them.

Our temperature sensors on the Tuscany give you a challenge when transitioning from heat to AC and back when traveling in spring and fall. You have to take in account the direction you are facing and the sun exposure. Also the 400D doenst have a RR pump that is separate so the zone in the 1/2 bath gets the recirculated hot water playing a bit with the temp sensor for the middle heat pump. Otherwise it is the perfect floor plan and the optimum equipped for us.

++ On the tank gauges (fresh, grey, black). The 1/3’s scale is useless, plus I don’t trust its accuracy. This is our second MH and we’ve had the same issue on both.

As I enter my 60’s, I’d also like to see the engineers pay more attention to maintenance accessibility. Our current coach is better than the last one, but there’s a lot of room for improvement.

Most importantly, the documentation is HORRIBLE. There’s nothing more frustrating than to look at a picture of the water service panel and find it doesn’t come close to matching your rig. The manufacturers need to invest more money on tech writers. I realize the products are evolving quickly, but that’s not an excuse.

In the full context, these are nits. Overall we are very happy with our coach. But it would nice to see manufacturers take the continuous improvement philosophy more seriously.

I don't like the highly polished counters and floor tile. Too many reflections.

Would love to have a "king" instead of queen size bed but very happy with everything else about the coach.

The 1/2 bath wasn't originally a consideration but boy has it turned out to be a nice feature!

Tank gauges; not very useful, especially when they register full right after I've dumped. I also dislike the medicine cabinet overhang. I keep bumping my head when I spit into the sink. And the pulls on the medicine cabinet doors (mirrors). They are tiny and are a pain to grasp hard enough to pull the doors open against the magnets. But these are fairly minor issues. On the whole, it's amazing how well engineered the coach is.
