What rpm is normal at 60 mph

Got a 7.5 ford 460 seems like I'm about 3,000 rpm at 60 2,000 around 40 mph is that normal for that engine. 40 ft coach coach is new to me so I'm just inquiring

Rear end ratio , tire size , and transmissions with over drive , will all factor into RPM, at a given speed.
Sorry but without all the info , no one can tell you what's normal for you rig.
As for me , I didn't know that there were any gas chassis coaches 40' long.
Rear end ratio would be paramount to get/keep, that kind of weight moving.

My 95 HR had that engine on F53 chassis it was designed to cruise best at 55 mph and RPM was 2200 -2300 range. Can you feel yours shift into Overdrive (4th gear)? Button in the end of shift lever locks out Overdrive, that button may be pushed and indicator light dash burned out so you can't see if button is engaged.

Should be able to watch the shifts on the tach
1990 I'm guessing no overdrive or lockup torque converter

And yea I'm thinking no over drive just a long rod coming off the transmission that connects to the side of the carburetor
