There are cruise app's that hook to RV's.

Here's one that slows your rig when you enter a speed zone.

BTW, I don't set my cruise to a number, I set it to always be 5mph-OVER.

Look at that app and you will see what I mean.

Coach Highway Driving

I understand every coach has a "sweet spot". My coach's is 60 mph. This is my "sweet spot" also. I'm more relaxed and I'm not overtaking other traffic to much and I can enjoy the scenery. My wife is also more relaxed at this speed. Milege at 60 is around 8 to 8.5 miles per gallon with or without our toad.

Cruise is set to 62 with or without a toad. Usually hang out in the right lane, except when going thru a city or area with lots of exits and entrances, then I'll move to the center lane if we have three lanes.

Going downhill the engine brake comes on about 67 and keeps me about 68-69 mph. If it hits 70, I use the service brakes to keep it under.

A poll with toads will soon follow....
