What to do with Old DOMETIC

We recently removed our old Dometic RM2862 the cooling unit was leaking. But Before I toss this unit out there are still a lot of good parts on it any ideas where I could sell these items like the inside racks, doors, controls etc. etc. etc......

I must say we are extremely pleased with our replacement residential unit. Thanks to this wonderful site and all the great pics along with awesome info on switching it over it made it fairly simple. Next will be the TV's we are going to update those soon.

May I ask the details on your replacement? I am considering the same. What residential unit did you use and did it require modifications of the space to place the new refrigerator? Any other info you have would be appreciated.

I would line to do this on my timing rather than wait for this Dometic to die and have to rush to replace it.

We bought a resident fridge that basically fit the same size spot as the dometic and it actually holds twice the amount of food we are planning on hooking it up to our inverter but just have not done it yet. We run our generator most of the time anyway so it works out and according to the display on the generator power display it pulls about 2 amps which is pretty good.
In my opinion the added convenience of the true cold fridge it is well worth it and we paid $350 for ours and all of our rv buddies say they will do the same when there's need to be replaced.
