Did a lot of "camping" and cookouts in the USMC.

We have been blessed to be able to enter RV camping at the level we did. The equipment in my sig is our first go at RVing. It's a lot like driving your living room around, so it's not really camping.

Everyone who said to that to me, I always said to them. I get to sit by the same campfire as you. I get to hike the same trails as the you. (tenters.) I get bit by the same mosquitoes as you. It is just at bedtime, I turn down the AC and snuggle in my queen size bed.
I did my tenting with the army in Germany. 13 deg. below zero. No thanks.

I agree with you. I grew up in Alaska and put 200lbs on my back and took off for 10-14 days at a time, to me that's camping. My wife and I are to blessed to have a Moho and jeep to get around in and we call that traveling
