What Washer/Dryer do you all recommend?
When I bought the coach it was plumbed for a washer/dryer but the salesman assured me I didn't want the washer/dryer and wanted the extra space instead.
Now I think I want the washer and dryer. I do too much laundry, I'm usually hooked up, and it's too much of a hassle to leave the coach to do laundry. It's also almost like $3 a load so I'm spending $10+ a week on laundry. And I think I need to wash my dog's bedding more often if her and my girlfriend are going to be in the coach together.
I was warned that a lot of RV units are lousy but that can't really be true. What's a good washer and dryer? Not looking to spend much more than $1000 but I will consider any unit. Will have 50amp service and propane available.
It's for a Windsport 34P.
Thanks.

This is what I am currently considering. I'm not sure I know the difference between "vented" and "ventless" though.

We have a Splendid and have been happy with it. Whichever brand you choose I would go with the vented model.

Ok...I haven't really looked at my coach yet, but will it be obvious where the vents go? I'm not sure I have a spot to exhaust the hot air...Although...my furnace exhaust vent is near there as well...I guess I will have a look when I get back to the coach.

Ours has a vent on the side wall adjacent to where the washer/dryer is located.

I don't do a lot of the laundry in our coach but, I have heard my wife on many occasions thankful that she has a separate washer and dryer. We both still work and she typically does the laundry every Friday. There is no way she could get it done in one night with a washer/dryer combo. I actually started the laundry last week and I have to agree with her.

I'm sorry, forgot to mention we have the Splendid washer and dryers.

There have been many complaints about the single unit, unvented Spendide washer dryers. You might search earlier threads. We have the separate Whirlpool washer and dryer which my wife would not do without. The Whirlpool combination requires more space but does an excellent job.

We have a washer and a dryer(vented) didn't want the combo. Originally they were Maytag and we replaced them the GE. No complaints, seem to work well. If a washer and dryer were an option for you I'm guessing there is a vent there somewhere. Basically I think they were just small residential units, like for an apartment.

We bought a slightly used Haire 1600 combo non-vented model off Craig" List for under $400. It's a apartment size W/D and it has worked fine in our fifth wheel for the last 5 years. In fact, it has become a must have appliance in our RV now.
PS - spdracr39, why do you say a ventless W/D is a pain?

Separate is best but vented is required. Ventless is just a pain.

Our coach came with separate Spendide units and we are very happy with them. Though drying can take some time.

We have the separate Splendide Arlston units. We have had them for three years and really like them. The dryer is vented and my wife said the key to drying is to not over fill it. It takes about one hour to dry a load of cloths that is not overloaded. They do really good.

We have Splendide 2100 vented model. Unvented takes longer to dry and sends the condensation from the process into the grey tank.
They had to drill a big hole in the side of our coach for the vent.
