What would you choose?

I have been looking for a DP and almost bought a 2005 Newmar Kountry Star 39', but I just could not get past a floor issue that had very squeeky floors. Plus, I really would like something in the 36-37 foot range with pass through storage. I found a used 2011 Fleetwood Expedition in great shape with very low miles. It beats the older Newmar in every way with more features, but I hear even the older Newmar is a great coach. I would be curious to get your opinions about the newer Fleetwood coaches compared to Holiday Rambler, Newmar and Tiffen?

Maybe you should ask in the Fleetwood forum.

Look at Monaco or Tiffin. The raised rail chassis allows for passthrough storage and both are very well built. I've had both and I think our Dynasty rides and handles better than the Phaeton did.

When we were looking for a 'newer' to us MH, some of the things that I was looking for were: Cummins engine before DEF, no Aqua heat, floor plan that both the DW and I could agree on, less then 40', no tag, and colors scheme that was pleasing to spend time in. With some of these the other options just fell into place.
Do not get caught by the 'first' one that you look at, unless it is the ONE that you really like.

My running partner has a good friend who is going to have to get rid of the 40' Foretravel due to age and health reasons. It is like new well maintained and not asking a huge price. If I could ever tank momma out of her Dynasty 42 w tag I would look at that foretravel.
