What's in your emergency road kit?
Our motorhome trips have been mostly local but we are now planning a longer trip. My biggest worry is being is a small town and have a breakdown and no easy access to spare parts. What do y'all carry in your vehicle to help with roadside repairs or to avoid long delays while waiting for parts to be delivered?

Preventive maintenance before leaving the house is the number one thing to do to make a effort to avoid breakdowns, A Craftsman tool box bought as a full tool kit, 3 drawer plus top section, that said, A roadside assistance membership, cell phone, credit card, and a laptop with working internet......is how I go about it.
Forgot: Emergency triangle kit......A must have!

Personally, outside of spare fluids, belts, filters and fuses, I don't care very much in the way of Spare Parts. Unless you are heading into the wilderness somewhere you are always within an hour or so of a truck shop that can usually get you moving. I carry a good assortment of nuts/bolts/screws/electrical connectors etc.
I know there are some that carry everything but the kitchen sink but to each their own. Over time you will decide what is important.

A small assortment of typical tools you would use on a MH, both house and chassis related. I carry a couple of small tarps to lay down if I have to get under the MH, and a set up to do an oil change on the road, including oil/filter ect. An assortment of fuses, tapes, wire connections ect. But like said before pre travel maintenance and buying a good roadside assistance plan are two things I wouldn't leave home without doing.

Much like dennis45. Fuel filters, serpentine belt, full set of fuses, and fluids. In addition I also carry spare wiper blades, a headlight bulb, and tail light bulb. Most importantly I keep my Coachnet up to date.
Besides the spare parts you should carry some basic tools, both ASA and Metric and decent volt/ohm meter.

A safety vest with reflective tape, orange or lime green in color, to be used when stopped on the road side. Three safety triangles, a must!!!
