The LADBs were notorious for their low CCC. The granite is part of it, but the walls and slideouts were also much heavier than other models.

Are you implying that I won't get 12 ~ 14 MPG with this one?

How did you get almost 2000 lbs from 160 gallons of water?

Of course why a 160 gallon fresh water tank because most people with these huge DPs aren't boondockers that spend weeks with hookups.

Probably about what I get with mine - 6.5-7 mpg. Same chassis and engine, similar weight.

No...they take very long steam showers

I got the 1,333 straight from their sheet (no math on my part at all!, honest!).

8 lbs per gallon - and I believe 154 lbs per sleeping capacity.

Our 2002 DSDP only had 663#'s of CCC at delivery and ALL of that was at the rear axle. The front axle was overloaded by 50#'s when fuel and propane tanks were filled and that we BEFORE we loaded anything aboard or got ourselves in.
Newmars are heavy due to the construction and extra's.
Newmar ultimately had Spartan replace the 12,000# axle with a 14,600# one, then, later I changed to oversize tires so I could use all that extra.
Newmar builds a good, quality rig, but it's not unknown for them to have low CCC's as a result.

Don - It still weighs the same no matter what you thought. Man you are mathematically challenged. You can't change things with your mind. Or can you? I need new tires...
