Most of the time when we're home I call our small 34-footer a coach. Around here if I say motorhome they think I'm talking about a mobile home. An RV is what a 4-wheeler is called. So it's 'coach' to prevent any misunderstanding.

They are all a hole in the street we throw money into. My ancestors called them covered wagons. They traveled in them to see new places and meet new people. Not much different now. So I am going out to my covered wagon and check the AC and fridge. Seeya on the road. Coach ?????? What is that..

we have a Travel Trailer called 'the trailer'; a flatdeck trailer called 'the flatdeck', a cargo trailer called the 'box'; a Class C called 'the mo-ho'; and the new Class A called 'the coach'.

All the areas of our acre are named as well, so we know what and where we are talking about.

My neighbors across the street have seen us go thru 4 motorhomes and she still calls them "mobile homes". Makes me wanna slap some sense into her, but they watch the house like hawks when we are gone. But that is coming from someone who rarely ventures outside, much less goes anywhere but work and the grocery store; vacations are spent at home with the big treat being lunch or dinner out. Different strokes.......
