Coach has always sounded kinda borderline "snobbish" to me, but what do I know??
At one time, not sure if it is still true, all Prevost's started out as a bus with no seats.
You go camping in a Camper.
You go recreating in a Recreational Vehicle.
Me, I live in it full-time . . . home with a motor . . . Motorhome

I was once told my 35 ft is a coach. That is where the term coach referal starts. Anything that is 35 ft or bigger is a coach. For me, you can call my 35 ft anything you want just so long as I am camping.

WOW! I never dreamed there would be this much response when I started the thread! It's been a blast reading all the thoughts on this. I'll throw in my 2 cents worth.
If I'm talking to someone that is not an RV'er I usually just refer to it as an "RV", and if they question the type I will say that it is a "motorhome". If they continue to ask questions about it I will give them specific details such as length, DP, etc. I try my best not to sound like I'm bragging.
If I'm talking to another RV'er who does not have a MH I always call it a "motorhome".
If I'm on one of the RV forums such as IRV2, and in the "motorhomes" and "Class A" area, I usually refer to it as a "coach" .

Not sure if you could sell the idea of a. 20 ft being a coach. I think the 36ft and above fits better. Also cost has something to contribute as well. Jmo
