Where do you wash
Seems like every place we stay has strict water and washing restrictions. Where is the best place to give the coach a bath?
Also, how often do you wash?
Thanks,
Jake

I use a dry wash with very good results, This is about the only way my coach gets washed. I wash a little each day(5 minutes) and it stays clean. We have a 2005 and most think it is a year or two old. I have Exzema and I must keep my hands as dry as possible. This is why I started this and I will never go back to a bucket and hose.

Some campgrounds will let you. Others will sell you a permit. And in others you can get a mobile washer to come out.

We have had good luck with campgrounds letting us wash. But if I need a wash job and they will not let me wash, I fill the freshwater tank before leaving and find a place along the way to stop and wash. Most campgrounds I have found that won't let you wash is not because of water usage, but concern for making the site muddy or people using cleaning solutions that kill the grass.

Blue Beacon. Not a perfect job, but for a dirty coach coming off the road it is reasonable.

When at home I wash it in the street right in front of the house. When we're in FL for the winter I wash it right on our site. The Resort where we stay allows this with no problem. If we're on the road and will be gone a while the Blue Beacon sounds like the ticket. Haven't used them yet but have seen some of the coaches they have washed and they've come out pretty good.

I make sure that the RV doesn't get covered in mud before I "wash" it.
What I do is that I take the "California car duster" followed by MeGuiar's detailer. I have washed the RV with soap and water many times but I get a better result with this "dry" method". I do also wax the MH at least once a year and I believe that this helps when "dry washing".

gtpainter925 - run a google search on dry wash and several products should come up. I have been using Dri Wash N Guard with good results.
