Flyfisher,

My coach was "satelite ready." That means that the wiring to the TV and cabinet that would eventually hold the DirecTV (or Dish) receiver was already in place.

The installer, knew how to find the wiring in the roof. At least that's what I think happened.

However, in order to install a 2nd receiver in a bedroom closet, he did run cable over the top of the roof from the dome to the bedroom and brought it down to the closet.

That is about $500 cheaper than I paid last year a a rally.
