Which Motorhome?

I'm sure this will get a lot of opinions but currently have a 2005 Allegro Bay and looking to move up to a DP. We want the bath and 1/2 floor plan as we will be going full time in next year or two. Have looked at the Allegro Bus 43', Holiday Rambler Endeavor 43' and Monaco Dynasty 43'. Have driven both the Allegro Bus and HR Endeavor, really like the ride of the roadmaster chassis but of course the spartan chassis was nice also. Which one would you buy new???

Presently I'm not a DP owner, but, if I were considering buying one, my preference of chassis would be the Spartan with Independent Front Suspension (IFS)

Thanks for your responses hopefully I'll get a few more but I'm leaning towards the Allegro Bus due to Bob T's customer service.

Monaco Dynasty (No Doubt) except one thing, Tiffin is still in business.

I just heard this for all Monaco owners: You CAN get parts and service for your Monaco.

Having owned an '03 40' Tiffen Phaeton for 4 yrs. and 27k miles I'd opt for the Allegro Bus. This is not only because I have a Tiffen product. It's because I've been to a number of Tiffen rallys' and talked to a lot of Tiffen owners. I've had a few window issues with my rig and Bob Tiffen has come through even though my rig is well out of warranty.

Allegro Bus is a nice coach.

Have you checked out the Newmar line? particularly the new Ventana 1 1/2 bath 43 ft.

I admit I am a little biased toward Newmar, but you can't go wrong with service with either Newmar or Tiffin.

I appreciate all the responses and no I haven't checked out Newmar coaches but I will. I have a good friend that had a 2004 Dutch Star and he really liked it.

I am looking also and at basically the same plan. Entegra has the Anthem 42RB and the Aspire 42RB. Anthem has the Spartan Chassis Aspiure does not. The dealer I spoke to thought highly of the Spartan. Also Fleetwood Revolution LE has 3 DP bath 1/2 floor plans. It's really tough when you are a novice klike myself but JMonroe (see Revolution thread) looked and has ordered the Revolution. I am thinking the same way. Any thoughts?

Bill, I looked at the 42' bath and 1/2 Fleetwood Revolution at the Good Sam rally a year ago april and like the floor plan. The spartan chassis is one of the best but I drove a HR Endeavor last January and was really impressed by the roadmaster chassis with 10 air bags. Since Navistar has bought Monaco/HR I'm somewhat leaning towards this coach but still impressed with the Allegro Bus. I'm still probably a year away from purchasing but I keep on looking. Safe Travels and thanks for all the input.
