Which side is best for dining table?

We have had both and when we were looking for our current coach it was not a "major" decision or a deal breaker either way, it was something I merely jotted down on the wants list as curb side dinette. I preferred the curb side so we could look out at our site. Wife didn't have a preference.

When we found our "perfect used coach", it had the street side dinette which still didn't mean too much but I commented on it to the wife because I had jotted it down on paper.

Now after seven years of owning this coach with the dinette on the street side, I can say it hasn't really made a difference to me. The wife however, likes the street side and the kitchen on the curb side. She informed me because when she is cooking she likes to look out into our site and see her family and feel closer to the conversation. When we are eating we are all inside and sitting together anyway.

In most cases, a curb side eating gives a better, more spacious view. In many campsites with privacy walls between them (ie: cedars) you would have no view at all if eating on the street side. My preference has always been the curb side dining area.

I had wanted to have one kitchen on passenger side for a long time for the reasons 1) kitchen on slideout increases the chance of plumbing failure; 2) kitchen set is heavy it adds weight to sliding mechanism. But I just couldnt find one desired until I settled on my first last - the kitchen is still at driver side. It's like one didn't fall in love with another in first sight but over time it worked out well and evtually married him/her. Mine has not creased problems yet so I am enjoying it.
