After my Wife returns from driving to Florida round trip with her 92 y/o mother, we will be heading out the middle of March for a National Parks Tour. Heading to 5 Star Tuning, then to Huntsville to see my son & family and finally begin at Hot Springs, AZ. 4 months +/-

The honeymoon to the Texas gulf coast which is this year's first real trip is in mid-April. Our 2001 Scepter purchased last July needs a TON of work. It's all little things that includes a mixture of service items like an oil change, and house repairs like basement door gas spring replacements. Nothing major thankfully but the list is long.

Super anxious and can hardly wait till spring!

We camp year around.
Our girl has been at a local place getting her yearly check up and look over, so she'll be coming home this weekend.
Our first trip for this year is the weekend before Valentine's day to a local COE. I'm sure we'll sneak off a few times more before our first "big" trip in April down to Orange Beach.

We'll be coming out of hibernation and out of storage in SC over spring break (Easter week) - and headed back north for summer fun. We already have summer trips planned to Cape Cod, Hershey and Lake Erie, PA, Upstate NY, OH, KY and NYC. The good thing is, although I'm still working, I get to travel for my work and the company pays mileage and campground fees for the RV! Not QUITE ready for retirement just yet...and the family gets to travel with me as well!

The trailer got a thorough interior cleaning & wood panelling oiled. Outside got washed & waxed. A few days later it was put into inside winter hibernation. About the same time the truck got its annual physical & had might need replacing replaced which paid for my mechanics cruise. The truck got a good cleaning & waxing too before also going into inside hibernation.

Both are about ready to go. Just need a few days in a boatyard to do the trailer bearing check, check things like U bolt tightness & grease all wetbolts. If the weather is not too cold maybe give the front cap another coat of wax then it is off on a 140 day drive.
