Yes we found. Seven year policy that had consequential damage also, also got a tire warranty with NSD. We are happy.

We had to down size our RV to a class c, had a lot of parking issues with the home owners association. And we don't have an RV parking place closer then 48 miles. I am glad we got the extended warranty even thou the RV is new now no major worries about breakdowns. Wife is happy, happy wife happy life. That's what I say.

About 4 months ago we traded our other motorhome in for our a new Tiffin. I contacted WW regarding this change and was told they could no longer offer ProTek in California. They promptly sent me a prorated refund on the ProTek policy I had purchased on my other rig.

I was happy with the speed of the premium refund, but never did file a claim.

I'm a newbie...sort of. Moving up from a 36' gasser to 40' Newmar DP. Now shopping for my first extended warrantee/service contract. I've seen lots of reference here to WW and I get the broker part. I'm not clear on how to identify the integrity, reliability and value of the actual carrier assigned. How do you separate the wheat from the chaff? Also, our dealer "highly recommends" Easy Care...a name I've never seen here. Any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Just got a quote from Wholesale Warranty for a one year/12k mile ESP. Their Protrek Diamond Exclusionary policy with a $200 deductible is $3,197 for my 12 year old motorhome with 38k miles. Last year I was paying $131/month or $1,572/year for the same policy and deductible. That's about double! Needless to say, I won't be going with them this year and GS is looking a whole lot better for several reasons. When I told the sales person how that compared to last year, she said they received two price increases over the last 6 months, which now makes their yearly policy quote not competitive at all. Since I don't know how long I will own this Motorhome, I'm not interested in buying a multi year policy... Even if it's transferrable to the new owner.

FWIW I just researched Easy Care EWS. Please do yourself a favor and read the reviews, not good. I've seen positive post from WW customers but looks like they've doubled their prices. it's such a shameless game the insurers play with consumers, really a PITA. My warranty has been ok, just ok and is up in two years. Things will get interesting then. My research on GS is there are too many exclusions on selective parts allowing them to dodge what would be considered normal expense. As always buyer beware. I'd love to hear others report on good low cost? adequate EWS companies that are reputable?

Tough to pay for a 20K engine with that. Or 8K to fix a transmission, or more.

warranty claim

ww 1st claim. just took the coach in for some repairs and found ww diamond plan that has a $200. deductible will only pay $100. flat rate. my shop charges $137. my repairs are going to be aprox 7 hours so i will be paying for 7 hours @ $37.00 and the $200. deduct. repair shop stated $100. flat rate was pretty much unheard of these days. i would have to agree. pickup next week and will post the final results if they change.

I had a similar experience with another EWS. That's how they are all working the system now. Nowhere in your agreement is there note of limited amount paid for warranty labor. Unless there is a statement I've missed? Maybe worded like "reasonable"? Insurance, a liscense to extort monies!!

WW keeps telling me that consequential damage is not needed on their Diamond exclusionary coverage. I'm about to spend $5k for a 48 month, $200 ded on an 02 DP.

That sounds very reasonable for a 4 year plan, especially for an 02' with a $200 deductible. I had that plan and it was pretty all inclusive. Certain items are almost never covered. The only reason I cancelled the policy was that I paid for time the RV sat, which in my case was 6 months a year. I also paid the same as somebody that drove their coach 12 months a year. Don't see that as equitable...

Our engine repair bill was right at $33,000 and the info to purchase the service policy didn't get to us until 2 DAYS after the engine blew.
