Why do you want to clean two bathrooms in a motorhome?

For non-full timers I'm happy to have just one bathroom. We even lived in it for 3 months and it was okay... but to be honest, if we were full timing, I would give a lot of thought to a 1 1/2 setup. There are definitely times when I've had to do the happy dance while my wife attends to her business (and vice versa).

...and we're not going to discuss the night where her Indian dinner disagreed with her. I almost bought a 1 1/2 bath the next morning, believe me!

Check your holster. You might be sticking a 45 in a 38 holster.

We have the half bath and really appreciate it. The GD model (other option) has one bathroom that is midships with two doors. Recollection is that floor space is about the same for bathrooms in both options.

It is personal preference. Janet picked the floor plan she liked best. I agreed with her.

Again...I think the rear bath is all the rage right now which brings up the need for a half bath. Our previous coach had an all in one bath in the center of the coach. We loved that floorplan because it was a nice size bath and really separated the bedroom from the living room (side aisle). My wife goes to bed much earlier and the mid bath allowed me to use it without waking her up.

With the half bath, the same thing. I can use the bath without disturbing her. On a recent trip, we both caught a two day flu. Thank God for the half bath. The only issue then was the need for a bigger holding tank.....I later resolved that with an electric drain.

I have the half bath... I hate it... wasting space, need bigger kitchen or w/d... wife loves it cause our 6 yr old twins have a dumper... so what, a waste of space but i was out voted... she said we have 4 bathrooms in the house so we need the half in the coach

The rear
bath was an engineering mistake. They saw that you could not
access it when the slide was in. VOILA......lets put another one where we always had one.
AND... lets sell this to the gullible public as a new innovation.

If I were designing my own coach, it'd be a mid-bath but with twin throne rooms. Not a fan of rear baths at all... at least, not in any layout I've seen.

Without the half bath in the center of our coach, you'd have to climb over the bed to get to the full bath in the rear, when the slides are in of course.

As you move more than a few blocks the water changes. (Mineral and even bacterial content of water is differfent campground to campground and occsionally site to site within.. one CG I stay at has a dozen wells) As water changes.. Well Things happen gastrointestinally This can cause a serious need to go sit somewhere.. Well if you and wife both "Feel the need" at the same time.. With TWO paths to deposit into the black tank... Wel the line I like to use is "2 holes, No waiting".

And that... Is why we bought a bath and a half model.

Our sentiments exactly. But, there are still macho men who think it's beneath them to sit down when they can stand and just aim and shoot. It's so easy to be considerate of the cleaning person, but some guys just don't care.

A bath and a half was a "must have" on our list. We frequently entertain guests in our RV and occasionally, one of our grown children travel with us. I like having a guest bathroom. We're not hurting for space in the RV.
