Wife's Kitchen Question (not mine)
We ordered a new Itasca Sunstar 27N which only has deep galley drawers, no silverware drawer. How do folks arrange their silverware?
Thanks.

My DW bought some metal divider trays and put in our drawers for silver ware and cooking utensils. I think she got them at Bed, Bath and Beyond. But you can get them just about anywhere.

Check around at RV retailers. Our trailer came with a silverware container that rides above one of the regular drawers.

A couple years ago I turned a antique dining room buffet/server into a bathroom vanity for some friends. The original top was beyond restoration so it was repurposed.
In the photo you can see the top drawer which was about 8" deep and not very useful for all those little things we all stash in the washroom. In this case I had to rebuild the drawer boxes which were also in bad shape plus I need to create a slot for the sink plumbing.
I made two boxes and inside you can see a board to be used as a rail to hold top trays. Sorry I don't have a photo of the trays, but the lifted out to access the other items in the bottom of the drawer.
I got all the materials for the drawer boxes and trays at Home Depot.

I got kitchen drawer dividers that stack and slide at The Container Store to double the space.

We were able to find small plastic silverware holders, we could 3 across for a total of 6. This keeps the utensils separated and organized.

Put your flatwear in cups (separate cups or combined sets of 2-8 as needed).
Just pull out the cup(s) when needed...can be stored in any cabinet tall enough for the longest utensil.
We carry a few sets of metal flatwear and a whole lot more disposible...select which is desired based on your day's plans (time to wash dishes or not)

Wicker Basket
I use a utensil basket like you would for a picnic table. This way it fits on the pull out shelf in my pantry and I have easy access to utensils, napkins and packets of sugar.

We stack silver trays as needed to fill drawer. Lower tray holds less frequently used items.

We purchased plastic inserts for silverware. I notice they come in single trays that clip together or a multiple unit. Check out the housewares section of most stores.

For sharp knives we found a holder that fits in a drawer the holder is made out of pighair like a dart board. Knives just push down into it and do not rattle.

We have the utensils in a basket (sectioned ) on the table (non-skid below it). It rides well.
