I had a wind noise coming back from Canada ... could not figure it out till I took a real good look at the wind shield .. it was coming out... just like you I put duct tape on it and drove it home.. come to find out the windshield must be glued both to the frame and the windshield on motorhomes

last year we had that problem. It sounded like wolves howling. We took it to a glass place and sure enough there was about a 3/4 gap on top of the passenger side windshield, a one piece windshield. Had it re seated and no problem. We have since had to replace 2 windshields. Seems driving this earthquake down the mountain roads has terrible stress on these windshields.
