I purchased one, and it worked well for a while, then it died and i was out of the money that I spent for it. So my advice would be to carefully read all the reviews that you can find on the dash cams and then choose the most reliable one.

Try dashcam.com
There are reviews of various dash cams. I read until I was bored and then bought mine.

We have the Panorama S in the motorhome and in each toad. Set it up and forget it; no fuss. You can pull the SD card to download recorded video any time, if you want. You can also push a button to have it record-on-demand any special scenery that you want to capture for posterity. \ken

PS. I did not find the GPS module and/or polarizing lens very beneficial. YMMV.

I got mine from Amazon, AGPtek® 2.7" LCD Full HD 1080P Car Camera Dash Cam Vehicle DVR - Night Vision,120 degrees, G-sensor. The instructions are not worth anything, but after a while you can figure it out. With a 32 GB card you get about 3 hours recording and it starts to loop. After I tried it for a while, I got another to put in the back window of the CRV when towing. I have both ends covered.

I purchased a WW when they first came out. While it works, it's nothing special, and over priced compared to other options that are available.

I didn't want or need anything more than a dash camera that would record events taking place in front me, particularly someone abruptly slowing down or stopping in front of me.

I have purchased two Mobius cameras for less than $70 each Mobius Actioncam Full HD Sports Camera 1080p 30fps 720P 60FPS Pocket Camcorder | eBay that I use in my towed and other personal vehicle.

Here's a short video clip from the Mobius while driving my towed over Donner.

I also bought the panorama, mine has the GPS internal, works great. I bought a second power cord and transfer it back and forth between mh and toad.

We bought 2 of these and they work good enough for the price. They turn on and off with the power so it's set it and forget it. I also bought batteries for them or else they don't hold any memory. Batts are a Nokia cell phone unit and were about $4 each, also off eBay, and 32 gig mem cards at Walmart. Poof presto we're protected! Lol

i had this for a year. in a summer day, i forgot to take it with me left it inside my car. just a few hours, when i came out, the high def was gone, the image became so blur that it couldn't be used as an evidence in case of need. i bought a higher priced one afterward. don't know the brand but it holds up well for two years up to now.

so, don't leave it in the car under summer sun shine!!

I plan on buying a GoPro... probably the entry-level HERO for about $130. I'm not much of a photographer or videographer, so I don't need any higher resolution or frame rates. But I do like the idea of taking it off the dash on hikes and stuff, and then right back into its cradle when we hit the road.
