Windshield cover

I am looking to get a windshield cover for my RV. I want something that I dond need a ladder for. I have snaps on the rv from PO but no cover. I like magnashade except the price. Has anyone used Prompt Sunscreen (RV Sunscreen | No More Snaps, Drilling or Climbing) Also why couldnt a person by sunshade material and some magnets and make your own sun shade. I know where to get magnets but not sure on Material.
