Windshield options - MCD and Magna Shade?

Just wondering if people who have MCD shades in the front - do you need a cover on the windshield too (like Magna Shade)? Or is the MCD shade sufficient for keeping heat out?

We have both. The exterior MagneShade does a much better job of keeping the heat out of the coach.

We have the dual interior MCD's which do a reasonable job but I'm still going to order the MagneShade ones

We have the dual MCD shades and the Magna Shade. We use the MCD shades for overnight stops and the Magna Shade for longer stops. The Magna Shade is SUPERIOR for heat rejection! The MCD shades provide privacy with and without the Magna Shade...

anything you put on the outside of the window will work better than any interior sun block. the idea is to keep the sun off the glass to prevent the heat from radiating in, and that is what magna shade does. put anything over a portion of the outside glass and then use a heat gun to measure the temperature of the covered and uncovered. just a suggestion.
