windshield replacement

I am having a cracked wind shield replaced on my 2005 holliday rambler scepter.
It is the one piece (big mamma) 53" tall and 113" wide. I have been told to reuse the old gasket, I think I would like to have the gasket replaced.
any suggestions what I should or shouldn't do with this installation.
I have had trouble with my headlights about to fall out, the adjuster have broken. I haven't had luck locating the original adjusters. fabricated them with long bolts with double nuts for adj. has anybody else had this problem?

We had to have our 2012 Hurricane one pc replaced in April. They replaced the seal and gasket.

Definitely new gasket. Any reputable glass company will want a new gasket. The old ones are hard and are tough to get a good seal. Given the cost of the windshield a new gasket is pretty cheap.

Show's you how opinions vary. I am having my windshield reset on the Eagle and when talking to American Coach their recommendation was that if no adjustments are being make to the front cap, as in re-squaring, then use the original seal unless it was torn or otherwise damaged. They indicated that the original seal was basically a custom fit to that front cap and would provide the best and easiest fit.
