Windshield replacement

We have a 02 Fleetwood Discovery the windshield is cracked and needs replace. Looking for any tip on what to do and what not to do it's a two piece windshield one side is cracked so do I do both sides our just the bad one

One side for mine was $600 for the glass plus $600 labor for installation. I wouldn't do both sides unless the rubber windshield gasket had to be replaced.

There's no reason I can think of to replace both. Plus if it's an insurance claim , they won't pay for the other one.

FMCA has a program with Guardian Glass. They may be able to help you. I have not used this program, but you may be able to save some $$$.

First, check your insurance policy if you have comprehensive. It may pay for it with no deductible. Here in SC all glass is covered regardless of cause ( unless you broke it on purpose ). Replacing the non broken side is not needed, but if you must it will be on your dime.
