windshield wiper problems

i have an 07 Adventurer with windshield wiper problems. when they are running they are very loud and the controls do not work. it appears the motor overheats and shuts off in whatever positon it wants. they will run for about 10 minutes before stopping. i have tried running them for several minutes and shutting them off however the controls do not work and they run till they overheat.
has anyone had this expeience before?

Is this a Workhorse chassis? If so go the workhorse forum (just scroll down till you get to it) and do a search as there is much posted about this issue.

I found a lot of problems with grounds on the wipers. Remember you have a lot of fiberglass on the front. most manuf. run a ground wire to the wiper motor. If that wire gets loose, you will have have a problem with low voltage and high amps. This will cause a lot of heat.

I've had a lot of trouble with wipers on 2 new coaches. All problems/solutions centered on water getting into the connectors and grounding them out. None of the connectors were wx pac type and were positioned vertically to ensure water would get into them and stay there. I adjusted them to sit horizontal and sealed them with silicone...end of problem.

We're still having problems with our wipers -- won't work in the rain (isn't that when we need them?) We've replaced the motor with a new one just a few months ago, but still have the problem. Anyone have any suggestions? No one seems to be able to help us.
