Question Winegard Video Distribution

I have a Wingard Video Distribution Center model VS53DVD/VS5312D. It is wired direct with a 12V. However, when I try to power up the system, it does not come on. I checked the 12V hookup behind the system and it is inserted correctly. I followed the wire back as far as I could and all seemed to be ok. Please let me know if you have experienced this type of issue and possible "fix". Thanks! Frank

IS there 12 volts on the wires in back of the unit?

And does the light come on?

If the light does not come on, then check your Battery Control Center (BCC) (Usually located under the Hood) for a fuse labeled "Power Ant". This fuse could be blown.

I could not find a "power antenna" fuse. Since I do not have a power antenna, could it be labeled something different?

Do you have a Wineguard crank-up antenna? It is powered and fused. You just need to find it.

Look in the back of the overhead cabinet. The antenna cable comes into the cabinet with a face plate. At the bottom of the face plate is a push button led. Push it and see if a light comes on.

The power to the crank up antenna is a "power amplifier" to amplify distant TV signals to make those distant channels watchable.

I found the fuse for the home theater system. The fuse was good as well as the fuse inside the Wingard Theater System box. I also disconnected the coax cable from the main antenna. Each time I tried to power up the system with no success.

I want to add the system worked before I swapped out the TV. Suggestions??
