Winnebago Adventurer brake lights

When I turn on headlights I loose blinkers and tail lights and when I turn them off my brake lights come on and blinkers work. Everything was working fine several weeks ago. Any ideas what this could be. Thanks

It sounds like a bad ground. Check all connections between ground and tail lights for a start. You could test this with a jumper wire with alligator clips to put a temporary 'extra' ground and see if it changes the behavior.

Ground from where the switch that I turn to get headlights on? Not very savy when it comes to automotive wiring. How do I figure which one is ground. Will it be green or do I use a continuity meter to check to ground. Thanks agian

Unplug each headlight bulb, one at a time and test.

Next would be each bulb in the tail, marker and brake lights.

When you have a bad ground, the power goes the bulb to the other bulbs instead of ground.

You could also check for a dimmer or brighter bulb and look there.

You might not be able to tell by insulation color. The ground would be identified as the wire running to a bolt, screw, or the metal frame of the RV. the other wire would be the (+) wire and could be tested by a multimeter or test light to a ground.

The headlights often have short ground wires from the back of the lights to a nearby ground. The switch probably also has a ground to complete the circuit for any illumination bulbs.
